Q. What generation is this server?
A: This server's content is mostly equal to G4, however some content such as homesteads, shadow missions, Dual Gun skills, and other custom content also exist in this server.
Q. What is Aura?
A: Aura is a server emulation project for Mabinogi. It aims to recreate server software from scratch to server Mabinogi clients. It is currently only compatible with NA clients. As of the DMCA claim on January 17, 2017, Aura's source code is now private.
Q. How do I play?

Q. The Auranogi launcher gives me a the error "File client.exe not found."
A: Please make sure your launcher is located in the same folder as client.exe. Common default Mabinogi install locations are available on the client setup page.
Q. I can’t move or am naked after login / The game crashes during loading
A: This usually happens when the server and the client aren’t compatible to each other. Please make sure your client version is the latest version of NA Mabinogi. Please note that there can be some delay updating the server after the official server receives a client update. Also please make sure that any modpacks that you have installed, such as Abyss are up to date.
Q. Why am I not receiving X quest for G1/G2?
A: We currently have the pre-genesis versions of G1 and G2. Accurate guides for G1 and G2 can be found on the wiki. Generation 1 Generation 2

Q. Are there any commands available to regular players?
A: Yes, there are a few commands available to players, commands can be found here. User Commands
Q. I am stuck in a boss cutscene after my party leader opened the boss room door.
A: This is caused by the party leader having a cutscene skip mod active. Please make sure to disable your cutscene skip mods as they can cause issues.
Q. I became stuck after doing X action, how do I get unstuck?
A: This is usually caused by a packet being sent that Aura's Channel Server does not yet handle. Please make sure to report this in our Issue Tracker or in the bug-reports channel with as much detail as possible in the event that this happens. This can be fixed by relogging, if you're in the middle of a dungeon or shadow mission you may ping Admin for help. Please note that Admin may not always be available.
Q. My hotkeys disappeared / the game crashes when I launch NA Mabinogi
A: Aura uses several pack file modifications in order to run. Please delete all aura prefixed .pack files and customDungeon.pack in your packages folder to run NA Mabinogi. It is recommended to create a copy of your Mabinogi folder if you plan to play both Auranogi and Mabinogi NA at the same time.
Q. I made a copy of my Mabinogi folder to play Auranogi, how do I update my client's folder?
A: The easiest way to update your folder is to copy the newer files from the NA client and allow them to overwrite the existing files. It is generally okay to ignore the mp3 folder, movie, HShield, and Nexon Guard folders. You also only need to copy over the newest .pack files over that your auranogi folder is missing.
Q. How do I donate to this server?
A: You cannot! I will never accept donations for running this server as I feel that it is unethical to do so. This server will remain free forever. However, you can help with development by donating to Exec's Patreon . Please note that this Patreon is for all of his projects, not Aura exclusively. Exec is the Aura Project's lead developer. Exec workes freelance jobs and Patreon reduces the time he needs to spend on freelance gigs and increases the time he can spend on Aura and his other projects.
